There are plenty of horses on the market today, so what makes ours special? First of all, they are all carefully bred for the classic quarter horse comformation, athleticness and docile brain that we all know and love. On top of that, they are handled from the time that they are born to whenever they leave. By the time that they leave Cactus Corral Ranch, they have all of the basic knowledge that they will need to be handled and trained effectivley.
Halter Breaking Weanlings
All of our weanlings learn that in order to get fed, their halter gets put on first. They love getting caught, and love attention even more!
Weanlings are Exposed to Valuable Life Skills
All of our weanlings learn valuable life skills that will undoubtably be used in their future. Such as getting their feet done, loading onto a trailer, and basic ground manners.
Horses Grow Up in an Outdoor Herd Setting
Our horses get to grow up in a herd, with their moms and other babies. This provides physical benefits to their joints, tendons, and hooves. Horses growing up in a herd setting will also allow them to develop their natural behaviors. This will also cause the horses to be constantly entertained, which prevents them from developing bad habits such as cribbing.
